Hi, my name is Chrissie Brodigan. I lead user experience research at GitHub as part of our product team. I've had the chance to work with companies like Mozilla with people who have done some pretty amazing things.
Research studies begin with possibility and conclude with discovery. There's a moment in each study where we learn something new about humans and the world. My role is to share these discoveries with designers and engineers who transform what we learn into awesome user experiences.
When I'm not researching GitHub, you can find me mentoring as part of Andreessen Horowitz’ “generation design” program. I live in Sausalito, just on the other side of the Golden Gate bridge, where Paisley (my pug sidekick) and I spend a lot of time outdoors.
Long before I was a user researcher, I was a historian and spent most of my time studying and writing about gender and labor with a special emphasis on women's careers in aviation.
