Chrissie Brodigan

Hi, my name is Chrissie Brodigan. I lead user experience research at GitHub as part of our product team. I've had the chance to work with companies like Mozilla with people who have done some pretty amazing things.

Why research? Research studies begin with possibility and result in discovery. There's a moment in each study where I learn something new about humans and the world. Even better, I get to share these discoveries with designers and engineers who transform what we learn into awesome experiences.

When I'm not researching GitHub, you can find me mentoring for Andreessen Horowitz’ “generation design” program. I live in Sausalito, just on the other side of the Golden Gate bridge, where Paisley and I spend a lot of time hiking around the Marin Headlands.

Long before I was a user researcher, I was a historian and spent most of my time studying and writing about gender and labor with an emphasis on women's careers in aviation.
